MEET DR. TASHINA REEDER
Dr. Tashina Reeder is a licensed social worker with over 23 years of clinical experience. She holds a Doctorate in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University and a Master's in Social Work from Temple University. Additionally, she holds a certification in Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy and has received extensive training in the Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model (T.R.E.M.).
She specializes in trauma-informed care services and leadership training, integrating approaches that educate, empower, and transform lives. She has led educational initiatives and professional development training on the intersection of HIV and Wellness, Mental Health and Trauma, and wellness-centered leadership for educators, direct care staff, and organizational leaders.
Dr. Reeder is known for her ability to connect with even the most challenging individuals, fostering breakthroughs with compassion and a commitment to emotional safety. Her impactful work has earned her the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, the Strength in Healing Wellness Award, and the Women Who Lead Connect Community Impact Award.
Her integrative, culturally responsive approach blends clinical expertise with spirituality and creative therapies, empowering individuals and teams to heal, grow, and lead. Dr. Reeder creates safe spaces that promote self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting transformation, particularly for those who are often unseen or unheard.
